Migrant suspect in brutal concrete slab killings of homeless arrested in France

A 37-year-old Cameroonian man, suspected of a horrific killing spree across Western Europe, was arrested in France after an attack on a young woman aboard a train.

Levis E., who had been ordered to leave France but stayed in the country, was detained at Toulon train station on Tuesday evening after train controllers alerted authorities to his violent behavior.

The suspect is linked to the brutal murder of a homeless man in Lyon, where he allegedly crushed the victim’s skull with a concrete slab. This shocking act of violence sparked nationwide outrage. Days later, Levis is believed to have attacked another homeless man in Rotterdam in a similar fashion, with CCTV footage capturing him returning to slam a concrete block onto the victim’s head. The footage went viral, leading to his identification by police.

Authorities are also investigating possible connections to additional murders in cities across France, including Évry, Strasbourg, and Dijon. A murder investigation has been launched by the Lyon prosecutor’s office, and the suspect remains in custody as officials work to piece together the full extent of his deadly spree across Europe.
