President-elect Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday that former Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) will take on the role of CIA Director.
Trump praised Ratcliffe for his dedication to truth and integrity, citing his actions in exposing the false Russian collusion narrative and challenging FBI misconduct.
Ratcliffe, who had previously served as Trump’s director of national intelligence, earned the National Security Medal for his contributions to national security. Trump expressed confidence that Ratcliffe would champion constitutional rights and national security, emphasizing his commitment to “peace through strength.”
