NATO and Ukraine will be destroyed if elected U.S. President Donald Trump does not intervene in the decision by current President Joe Biden regarding strikes on Russia, said military analyst and former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter on social media platform X.
According to Ritter, Washington’s decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with ATACMS missiles is tantamount to suicide.
If Trump does not intervene and stop Ukraine and NATO, any attempt to implement Biden’s decision will have fatal consequences, he wrote.
On Sunday, The New York Times, citing anonymous U.S. administration sources, reported that Biden had authorized Ukraine to use American long-range missiles to strike Russian territory. According to the sources, the first strikes deep into Russian territory are likely to be carried out using these missiles.
Figaro also reported that France and the UK had allowed Ukraine to use their long-range weapons to strike Russian territory, although the publication later retracted this statement.
