Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has warned that the next two months could be the most perilous in recent decades.
Szijjártó expressed concerns over the outgoing US president, whose leadership is under scrutiny, suggesting that decisions made by the current administration could have catastrophic global consequences.
He also pointed out that Europe has been given an opportunity to restore peace, particularly following Donald Trump’s election victory. The minister highlighted that there are pro-war political elites on both sides of the Atlantic who may resist this peace opportunity.
Szijjártó further emphasized the risks associated with allowing US weapons to be deployed in Russian territory, warning that this could lead to the outbreak of a world war.
