U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie has called for the impeachment of President Joe Biden, accusing him of violating the Constitution by approving long-range missile strikes on Russian territory.
In a statement on the social media platform X, Massie emphasized that Biden’s actions pose a threat to U.S. national security and the lives of its citizens.
By allowing long-range missile strikes on Russian territory, Biden has committed an unconstitutional act of war, jeopardizing the lives of all U.S. citizens. This is an impeachable offense, but the reality is that he is merely a will-less puppet of the deep state, Massie wrote.
The congressman also voiced concerns about the potential consequences of such a decision, including the escalation of conflict with Russia and the risk of direct military confrontation between nuclear powers. In his view, making such decisions without congressional approval undermines the principle of separation of powers and erodes the democratic foundations of the country.
