Macron to invite Trump and Musk to AI summit in France

French President Emmanuel Macron plans to invite elected U.S. President Donald Trump and American billionaire Elon Musk to an artificial intelligence summit scheduled for February 10-11 next year. The statement was reported by Le Figaro.

Macron mentioned that he had also invited representatives from India and China to the summit. “I have invited China, the United States, and other major countries,” he said.

Musk will also be invited, “as well as major entrepreneurs involved in these issues,” Macron added. “On December 6, I will have the opportunity to host a group of American entrepreneurs and scientists working on this matter,” he concluded.

Macron was one of the first leaders in the European Union to congratulate Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential elections on November 5. The following day, they held a telephone conversation.
