The newly elected Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, Agnė Širinskienė, inherited an office devoid of furniture from the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis.
It is noted that the office previously belonged to Landsbergis, who is leaving his post. Reportedly, he left the office empty, taking all his personal furniture with him.
Širinskienė found only a safe and a portrait of former President Dalia Grybauskaitė in the office. She sarcastically commented that perhaps Landsbergis decided to take the furniture to Greece, where he is currently located.
“It turns out the furniture was personal, because the state furniture was not suitable. Perhaps he decided to save money and take it to Greece,” she joked.
