The president suspended parliamentary operations, and the military blocked access to the building. Opposition protesters are attempting to break into the parliament. Military vehicles have appeared on the streets of Seoul, and the commander of martial law has declared a ban on protests and restrictions on media activities. Offenders may be arrested without a warrant.
These events have also affected the cryptocurrency market: the price of Bitcoin fell from $96.2k to $93.9k, but later recovered, partly due to active buying.
