On the evening of the previous day, rescue workers discovered the bodies of three children and a man in a house in the city of Meissen, located in Saxony.
The children were one, two, and three years old. The body of a 37-year-old man was found nearby. Paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed the deaths of all four individuals.
Currently, the Dresden prosecutor’s office and police are conducting an investigation on suspicion of murder. The crime scene has been sealed off, and authorities have begun collecting evidence. Initial interviews with local residents have also been conducted, according to police spokesman Marco Laske.
The police have not yet provided further details about the incident.
