On Monday, December 9, border crossing operations were temporarily halted at the border with Moldova. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to border guards, the suspension affects checkpoints in the Chernovtsy, Odessa, and Vinnytsia regions along the Ukraine-Moldova border, where the processing of people and vehicles has been paused. This interruption was due to technical malfunctions in Moldova’s customs database.
In late November, similar disruptions occurred at the border crossings with Moldova and Romania because of technical issues.
At the Ukraine-Hungary border, the “Luzhanka – Beregshuran” checkpoint began processing empty trucks on Monday, December 2.
