A military helicopter crash in southwestern Turkey on Monday, December 9, claimed the lives of five personnel during a training flight, according to the local governor in an interview with NTV.
The crash occurred in the city of Isparta when two helicopters from the Army Aviation School collided mid-air in the Keçiborlu district. One of the helicopters went down, killing all five people on board, including a brigadier general.
The governor confirmed to TRT News that the second helicopter managed to land safely.
