A powerful explosion took place at the ZSR factory in the village of Kavakli, near the Turkish city of Balikesir, resulting in at least 12 fatalities and three injuries. The incident was reported by Balikesir Governor Ismail Ustaoglu, as per CNN Turk.

The explosion occurred in the production area of the factory, specifically in the capsule manufacturing workshop. The cause of the incident is currently unknown. The factory building has been destroyed, and numerous firefighting teams have been dispatched to the site.
