Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of Warsaw, has emerged as the most trusted politician in Poland, with 45.8% of respondents indicating trust in him, according to an IBRiS poll conducted for Onet.
Trust in Trzaskowski, a presidential candidate from the “Civic Coalition,” rose by 3.2 percentage points compared to November. However, 48.7% of respondents expressed distrust toward him.
President Andrzej Duda ranked second in the poll, with 41.2% of respondents expressing trust, a decrease of 1.5 percentage points from the previous month. Distrust in the president also increased, with 54% of respondents indicating a lack of confidence in him.
Former Prime Minister and “Law and Justice” Vice-President Mateusz Morawiecki maintained a steady 36.7% trust rating, unchanged from November, while 58.7% expressed distrust.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk placed fourth with 36.5% trust, reflecting a drop of 5.1 percentage points compared to November. This marks his lowest trust rating since assuming office last year, with 54.1% of respondents expressing distrust.
