The first civil lawsuit in Poland related to compensation for complications after the COVID-19 vaccination has begun.
This court case is significant as it marks the first instance where a citizen has gone to court seeking compensation for the consequences of vaccination. The lawsuit was filed by a 19-year-old woman, who claims that after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, she experienced serious neurological disorders.
According to the plaintiff’s lawyers, she developed numerous issues with her nervous system after vaccination, which severely impacted her quality of life. The lawsuit states that these complications were a direct result of the vaccination, and therefore, the woman is entitled to compensation for both the physical and emotional suffering.
The plaintiff is seeking compensation of nearly 50,000 euros, which includes not only the principal amount but also interest for the delay and court costs. The woman’s representatives emphasize that the complications have had serious consequences for her ability to work and live a normal life.
