In Poland, the gap between Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s bloc and the largest opposition force, the “Law and Justice” (PiS) party, has narrowed to less than two percentage points, according to a survey conducted by Opinia24.
If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, Tusk’s “Civic Coalition” would receive 31.9% of the vote, while “Law and Justice” would get 30.7%. The gap between the two main rivals has decreased compared to a month ago, when “Civic Platform” (part of the Civic Coalition) maintained the same result, and PiS had 28.9%.
In third place is the right-wing “Confederation” with 13.5%. Support for this political force has dropped by almost one percentage point since the last poll.
7.3% of respondents stated that they had not yet decided who they would vote for.
It is important to note that the first round of the Polish presidential election will take place on May 18, 2025.
