The world is witnessing “the rise of the East and Asia, and the end of the world order created and dominated by Anglo-Saxons,” stated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
Speaking at the conference “A Successful Hungarian Presidency in 2024 – A Chance for the European Union,” Orbán emphasized that Hungary’s presidency of the EU Council in the second half of last year marked the “beginning of a new era.”
According to the Prime Minister, the coming period will go down in history as “the time when Donald Trump and European patriots began the restoration of the Western world.”
The world is witnessing the rise of the East and Asia, and the end of the era where the world order was controlled by Anglo-Saxons, Orbán said.
He added that the key centers of global power are in the process of creating new economic, political, and cultural foundations that are likely to shape the future for decades to come.
Brussels remains the only geopolitical center that is uninterested in the changes in global politics and their impact on us… The EU has not even begun preparing for this race, so it must awaken, the Prime Minister concluded.
