According to the administration’s statement, the freeze will affect programs related to transgender rights, environmental initiatives, and inclusivity efforts. White House Budget Director Matthew Waite stated:
Using federal resources to promote Marxist equality, transgenderism, and the social engineering policies of the ‘Green New Deal’ is a waste of taxpayer money that does not improve the daily lives of those we serve.
