American billionaire Elon Musk spent more than $290 million on the 2024 elections, backing Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
This information comes from data provided by the U.S. Federal Election Commission.
New documents filed with the Federal Election Commission revealed that on the last day of 2024, Musk contributed approximately $11.2 million to America PAC, Trump’s primary support fund.
These contributions were intended to “encourage petitions” related to million-dollar lotteries that he organized toward the end of the election campaign. Overall, these efforts cost Musk more than $50 million.
If we account for all of the billionaire’s donations during the 2024 campaign, the largest amount—around $250 million—went to America PAC, while the rest was distributed among other funds linked to the Republican Party.
New data from the U.S. Federal Election Commission confirm Elon Musk’s status as the biggest donor of the latest political campaign.
