According to reports, violence at the Campus Risbergska school in Örebro resulted in multiple gunshot wounds. The police are urging residents of the Västhaga area to stay indoors. The severity of the injuries has not yet been specified. According to Expressen, among the injured are police officers. There is also information that the perpetrator has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Last year, several European countries saw attacks by students on their classmates, some of which ended tragically. Recently, an investigation was launched in Hungary against a 17-year-old student who threatened to carry out a shooting at a school. In January, an attack with a knife occurred in a school in the town of Spišská Stará Ves in Slovakia, near the Polish border, resulting in the deaths of two people.
