Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that his country is preparing to conclude a favorable agreement with the United States while maintaining economic relations with Washington.
Meanwhile, in his view, the European Union will face the consequences of its policies. He wrote about this on his X page.
We are in constant negotiations and will strike a beneficial deal with the new U.S. administration. And what about the Brussels bureaucrats? You brewed this mess, now deal with it! Orbán remarked, commenting on the first EU summit in Brussels following Donald Trump’s inauguration.
According to the Hungarian premier, the EU will have to say goodbye to its usual trade rules, as Trump will firmly defend American interests, even if it harms Europe. Difficult times lie ahead for the EU, Orbán predicted.
He also called the summit a “strange meeting,” noting that European leaders are trying to ignore the “Trump tornado,” even though in just two weeks, the new U.S. president has already “turned the world upside down.”
Gender ideology in the U.S. is over, funding for Soros’ globalist organizations has been cut off, illegal migration has been stopped, as has support for the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In other words, everything that Brussels bureaucrats have been imposing on us in recent years has come to an end, Orbán declared.
Shortly after taking office, Donald Trump announced the recognition of only two genders in the U.S., froze international and military aid, ended support for Ukraine, and imposed new trade tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China.
