On the evening of February 5, a private helicopter crashed near Parma, Italy, with three people on board. All of them died. According to ANSA news agency, the incident occurred around 7:00 PM.
The helicopter, carrying two pilots and a passenger, fell shortly after takeoff for unknown reasons. As a result of the crash, 42-year-old entrepreneur Lorenzo Rovagnati, the director of the eponymous company, and two pilots, aged 59 and 30, were killed. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
In December, a similar tragedy occurred in Turkey when an air ambulance helicopter collided with a hospital, killing all four people on board. In November, a private helicopter with two people aboard crashed in Sweden, but they survived.
