The no-confidence vote against Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal, initiated by the opposition, failed to secure enough votes, according to the Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR).
Urmas Reinsalu, leader of the Isamaa party, had previously stated that his political force intended to express no confidence in the government due to disagreements over energy policy.
According to ERR, the vote took place on Wednesday, February 12. Only 28 members of parliament supported the no-confidence motion, while at least 51 votes were required. A total of 94 MPs participated in the session.
