Amid the upcoming Bundestag elections, another deportation flight has been sent from Germany.
During the night, police vehicles from various regions of the country arrived at Hanover Airport to send 50 people to Iraq. According to sources, the deportees may include both criminals and individuals who have partially integrated into German society.
The flights are organized by the Central Deportation Authority (ZAB) in collaboration with the federal police, who escorted the deportees to the airport’s secure zone. This flight is operated by a Turkish airline at the request of the German government. The Airbus A320 was originally scheduled to depart at 8:00, but the departure was delayed, and the aircraft took off at 9:18.
Activists are opposing the deportations, including the Refugee Council of Lower Saxony, which has announced a protest. They emphasize that some of the deportees may be people who have already partially adapted to life in Germany.
