Talks between U.S. and Russian delegations on a peaceful resolution in Ukraine have begun in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
The U.S. delegation is represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
On the Russian side, attendees include Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev.
Also participating in the negotiations are Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and National Security Advisor Musaid bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.
