Trump is expected to share his plans for restoring peace globally, including steps to end the conflict in Ukraine. During his speech, the president will also cover the following topics:
Trump’s achievements both in the U.S. and abroad during his second term;
Measures taken by his administration to strengthen the U.S. economy;
Demands from Congress for additional funding to secure the borders;
The White House’s plans for establishing peace worldwide.
Additionally, today Trump fulfilled his promise to impose large import tariffs on goods from Canada, China, and Mexico — one of the largest tariff increases since the 1930s. Furthermore, the U.S. has suspended arms shipments to Ukraine in an effort to push President Volodymyr Zelensky toward peace negotiations.
