US President Donald Trump promised that federal funding for all educational institutions would be cut off if they permit illegal protests on their premises.
Trump emphasized that those who incite such protests would face strict punishment, including imprisonment or permanent deportation to their country of origin.
In his statement, Trump also mentioned that American students participating in such protests would be “permanently expelled” from their institutions, and depending on the severity of their criminal activities, they could be arrested. He stressed that “no masks” would be allowed—an obvious reference to the protests during the pandemic when protesters wore masks to hide their identities.
These measures, according to Trump, are aimed at ensuring order and safety in American educational institutions. His statement included criticism of institutions that, in his words, are becoming centers where “students are incited to illegal actions and lawlessness.” Trump declared that the administration of his future campaign would strictly monitor compliance with legality and orderliness in educational institutions, eliminating any attempts to organize protests that disrupt public order.
Trump promised that under his leadership, all protest movements interfering with the normal educational process would be “forcefully suppressed.”
