US President Donald Trump stated that he had talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Thursday.
Trump noted that the talks with Putin were “good and productive,” and expressed confidence that there is a high chance of the conflict in Ukraine coming to an end.
We had very good and productive talks with President of Russia Vladimir Putin yesterday, and there is a very large chance that this horrible, bloody war will finally end — BUT RIGHT NOW, THOUSANDS OF UKRAINIAN TROOPS ARE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED BY RUSSIAN TROOPS AND ARE IN VERY BAD AND VULNERABLE POSITION. I strongly urged President Putin to save their lives. It would be a horrible massacre, like nothing seen since World War II. God bless them all!!!
