On Monday morning, a tragic accident occurred in the Pas-de-Calais region of France, where a train collided with a car, resulting in the deaths of two military personnel.
The French Ministry of Defense and the National Company of French Railways (SNCF) confirmed the incident. According to SNCF, the collision took place at a railway crossing near the city of Arras.
The Ministry of Defense’s press service stated, “An accident occurred this morning, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers.”
This incident follows other recent accidents involving military personnel. In January, a historic vehicle overturned during a military demonstration in the Czech Republic, claiming two lives. In Finland, a truck carrying Defense Forces personnel was involved in a crash, leaving 23 people injured.
