A small Extra EA-400 aircraft bound for Denmark crashed in the Swiss Alps. According to preliminary reports, three people died in the accident.
As reported by AP, citing local police, the aircraft took off from Samedan at 5:20 PM on Monday but crashed just two minutes later on the outskirts of the village of La Punt-Chamues-ch and caught fire.
The identities of the victims have not yet been established. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
