Trump threatened Tesla vandals with El Salvador prisons

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that those involved in attacks on Tesla vehicles and charging stations could face 20 years in prison and might even serve their sentences in the notorious correctional facilities of El Salvador.

Trump’s statement followed Elon Musk’s claim that most acts of vandalism against Tesla were carried out by paid agitators.

I’m looking forward to these sick terrorist thugs getting 20 years in prison for what they’re doing to Elon Musk and Tesla. Maybe they could serve their time in Salvadoran prisons, which have recently become famous for such wonderful conditions! Trump wrote on the social media platform X.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that Tesla employees and investors were concerned about Musk’s alliance with Trump and its impact on the company’s reputation. The publication noted that since Trump’s inauguration, Tesla facilities had suffered more than a dozen attacks, coinciding with Musk’s increased political activity.

U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi also stated that authorities were considering the attacks on Tesla owners, the company’s dealerships, and the harassment of Elon Musk as part of an organized campaign.
