According to Rzeczpospolita, since the beginning of this year, the number of foreign nationals deported from Poland has almost doubled.
In the first two months of this year, over 1300 people were deported, compared to only around 700 during the same period last year. Among the deported, the largest groups are citizens of Georgia, Belarus, and Moldova – 260, 220, and 150 people, respectively. Additionally, in the first two months of 2025, 90 Colombian citizens and more than 80 Ukrainian citizens were deported.
According to the publication, the deported foreigners are often repeat offenders, convicted for violence, fights, bodily harm, and many are drivers with convictions for drunk driving and violations of driving bans.
