Argentina is set to declassify and release information regarding Nazis who fled to the country after World War II.
President Javier Milei has directed all government agencies to make public official documents related to these individuals, according to Guillermo Francos, head of the Argentine Cabinet, as reported by El Comercio.
“Milei ordered the disclosure of all information held by any government agency. The most important files are likely in the Ministry of Defense. There is no reason to hide this data,” Francos said.
This decision came after a meeting between President Milei and U.S. Senator Steve Daines, who pressed for the release of such information.
In a related development, Milei recently removed all photos featuring himself alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from his social media profiles.
