In Lithuania, three foreign military personnel and a vehicle disappeared on the evening of Tuesday, March 25, following drills at a training ground in the town of Pabradė.
According to the Lithuanian Police Department, at 19:20, authorities in Vilnius received a report that the soldiers had gone missing after the exercises at the Pabradė training ground in the Švenčionys district in the eastern part of the country.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. Major Gintautas Ciunis,, a spokesperson for the Lithuanian Armed Forces, stated that the missing individuals are foreign nationals but declined to provide further comments on the situation.
“I can only say that these are foreign soldiers,” he remarked.
Gediminas Žukauskas, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense, informed the broadcaster that he was aware of the disappearance but did not provide any additional details.
