A massive fire has broken out at the Yas Waterworld water park in Abu Dhabi. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and fire suppression efforts are currently underway, reports The National.
It is noted that emergency services responded swiftly to the blaze. Abu Dhabi police have closed off roads around the water park.
The fire is believed to have started in a construction area of the entertainment complex, which originally opened in 2013. Later, it was reported that firefighters managed to contain the blaze, and no casualties have been reported.
Abu Dhabi police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority have brought the fire under control. The fire broke out this morning at a construction site near Yas Waterworld on Yas Island, according to the publication.
