Donald Trump Jr. is coming to Romania a week before the election

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the U.S. president, is set to visit Romania on April 28 — just one week before the first round of the country’s presidential election. The news was reported by G4Media.ro, citing sources.

According to the outlet, the trip to Bucharest is part of a broader tour of Eastern European countries. Trump Jr. also plans to visit Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade, and Sofia.

Adrian Țîț, a businessman and one of the event organizers in Bucharest, confirmed Trump Jr.’s visit, noting that he will be attending a business event. No meetings with Romanian politicians are planned.

Earlier, Trump Jr. criticized the annulment of the results of the first round of Romania’s presidential election, in which right-wing candidate Călin Georgescu was leading. On the social media platform X, he called the decision by the Constitutional Court “another Soros-Marxist attempt to rig the outcome and deny the will of the people.”

Previously, Trump Jr. visited Serbia, where he met with President Aleksandar Vučić. In January, he also made a private trip to Greenland amid his father’s statements about the possibility of bringing the island under U.S. control.
