On May 14-15, an informal meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of foreign ministers will take place in Antalya, Turkey. This was announced by NATO’s press service.
The meeting will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The event will be held at the NEST Convention Center, where ministers will discuss key issues amid pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump for allies to increase defense spending.
Additionally, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized in April that all NATO member states should commit to raising their defense spending to 5% of GDP.
