French President Emmanuel Macron firmly denied claims that he was considering dissolving Parliament or calling for early elections.
His response came after Bloomberg published a report suggesting that Macron was allegedly contemplating holding early elections in the fall of 2025.
“I saw that one of your colleagues wrote nonsense. It’s ridiculous that Bloomberg wrote such a thing… I never said that and never considered it,” Macron told journalists during his visit to Madagascar.
Additionally, the Élysée Palace issued a statement dismissing Bloomberg’s report about Macron allegedly contemplating dissolving Parliament and holding early elections.
