Syrian migrant smashes 245 car windows, beats elderly woman, and has illegal weapons; allowed to say

In Germany, a Syrian migrant named Firas A. keeps dodging deportation despite racking up a jaw-dropping rap sheet. This guy’s been busy—smashing windows on 245 cars, slugging an 84-year-old woman, and waving around illegal weapons like a butterfly knife. Yet, the courts? They’re letting him stick around.

Firas rolled into Germany back in 2015, snagging a permanent residence permit by 2021. Since then, he’s treated the law like a punching bag. He’s driven without a license more times than anyone’s bothered to count, only losing his keys after the second bust. Frustrated, perhaps, he turned to shattering car windows all over Hamburg—until undercover cops nabbed him mid-swing.
Then, in late 2023, he threatened his old boss, got caught with that illegal blade, and still walked free after just 24 hours. Why? He fessed up, and apparently, that was good enough for the prosecutor. Fast forward to now—he’s locked up again, this time for laying hands on an elderly woman. With eight convictions under his belt, the latest on July 24, 2024, he’s racked up €10,500 in fines. And yet, deportation? Not on the table.
Hamburg, a migrant-friendly hotspot run by a left-leaning crew, says he’s got “subsidiary protection.” Translation: unless he’s a screaming threat to national security, he’s staying put. His record, though? Doesn’t seem to cut it for them. Still, the city’s tossed his case over to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, asking, “Hey, can we yank his status?” No word back yet.
Dirk Nockemann, a bigwig with the Alternative for Germany party, isn’t having it. “This guy’s a walking disaster,” he argues—well, not in those exact words. “We can’t keep coddling repeat offenders. Strip their protection, ship ‘em out—end of story.” For now, though, Firas A. stays, his antics piling up like unpaid parking tickets.
