A kindergarten teacher at a Catholic school in Treviso province, northern Italy, has been temporarily suspended from work after it was discovered that she had an account on the OnlyFans platform.
According to Tribuna di Treviso, 29-year-old Elena Baraga, who has a permanent contract at the kindergarten, found herself at the center of controversy after someone discovered her OnlyFans profile and reported it to the school administration.
During an administrative meeting, Baraga was accused of behavior that did not align with the religious values of the institution and was suspended without pay. In a media statement, Baraga said she feels no shame about her activities and sees no reason to hide her body.
OnlyFans, a platform founded by British entrepreneur Timothy Stokely in 2016, operates on a subscription model and has gained widespread popularity, particularly for adult content. In 2023, the EU Court ruled that OnlyFans must pay value-added tax (VAT) on the entire subscription amount, not just on its 20% service fee.
