According to CNN, the bureau is processing thousands of documents and video recordings daily, a task that has become a priority even over investigations into threats from China and Iran.
Attorney General Pam Bondi ordered the expedited process after criticism from supporters of Donald Trump, who are demanding full transparency in the case. Earlier, in February, the Justice Department released part of the materials, but they did not satisfy the public, as they mainly contained already known information. In the current work, FBI agents are actively removing personal data from documents in compliance with privacy protection laws.
The editing work is being carried out in multiple FBI offices, including those in Washington, New York, and Virginia.
