The American company Tesla has announced a recall of over 2,400 of its Cybertruck electric pickups, as stated in a press release from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
According to the document, 2,431 vehicles manufactured between November 6 of last year and July 30 of this year are affected by the recall. The recall is due to a detected issue with the drive inverter, which could increase the risk of accidents. Tesla technicians will carry out the necessary replacement free of charge.
In October, Tesla recalled over 27,000 Cybertruck vehicles due to issues with the rearview camera. Tesla Motors, founded in 2003 under the leadership of Elon Musk, specializes in the development and production of electric vehicles and related technologies. The company also manufactures batteries and electric motors using its own technology, selling them to other automakers, including Toyota and Daimler. In 2021, the company relocated its headquarters from Palo Alto to Austin, Texas.
